About Us

Rudy Ring discovered the South Halmahera diving area in cooperation with the local government in 2009 and explored it with his liveaboard from 2009 – 2016. Together with his guests, he has given the diving spots a name and developed them for diving tourism.

PROCO ISLAND BAMBU RESORT is a new dive resort that opened this March 2023, which Rudy built together with some friends in the paradise bay of PROCO ISLAND Halmahera. With great detail and through many years of experience, now a diving resort was created that leaves nothing to be desired.

Our Dive Resort in Halmahera

We have a bamboo restaurant, 12 cottages and our beautiful hillside sunset bar in a very extravagant style, made entirely of bamboo. The island is surrounded by a coral reef and right now we are one and only dive resort on this island. In addition to diving, you can enjoy nature here and let your soul dangle.
